This incident resulted in the partial shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking area.

Two more people have been arrested in connection with a robbery at Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, as stated by police.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area on suspicion of robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals are still being held, authorities confirmed.

The arrests come after a probe into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the incident, two women were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was one of the those hurt in the event. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for medical care and have since been discharged.

Officers detained a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault close to the scene. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Authorities were alerted at about 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of several individuals injured by an irritating chemical thought to be pepper spray.

The assault - which police said was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - caused delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking facility briefly.
